Before you buy, here are my answers to some of my most commonly asked questions:

 BEFORE YOU PURCHASE

WHAT IS A PRESET?
If you’re familiar with using filters in apps like Instagram, VSCO, or any other photo editing application, then you’re already familiar with using presets. Presets are Lightroom’s version of filters.

Presets are Lightroom’s way of saving your editing adjustments so you can easily re-apply those same adjustments to multiple photos. Even though both Desktop and Mobile presets are one-click presets you may still need to make minor tweaks to suit your personal aesthetic.

Adjustments can be made to things like exposure, temperature, highlights, saturation, shadows, and pretty much anything else you want to match your aesthetic and camera settings.

All of these adjustments will take your photos to the next level! When you buy my presets you are essentially buying my aesthetic.

If you are still not 100% sure how to make these adjustments make sure you watch my youtube tutorial below.

WHAT IS A LIGHTROOM?
Lightroom is a photo editing application made by Adobe. It is the only program I use to edit all of my photos, I don’t use photoshop.

ARE THESE THE EXACT PRESETS YOU USE?
Yes, these are the presets that I created from my travels around the world and the only ones I use on all my photos in my feed. I've been perfecting these presets for over a year!

DO THESE PRESETS WORK FOR ANDROID?
Yes they do! :)

THE PRESETS WON'T OPEN ON MY PHONE?
If you're running into issues downloading the files directly to your phone is because most phones cannot unzip files. Download the file to your desktop first before transferring them to your phone.

WHAT WILL INFLUENCE THE RESULT OF MY PHOTOS USING PRESETS?
There are so many variables that can influence the final outcome of a photo and why one preset may work better than another. The biggest one being your camera. Canon, Nikon, Sony, iPhone, Android… each camera has slightly different coloring. Meaning, if I shot the exact same picture with 2 different cameras and applied the same preset to them the end result will still look different.

Other factors that can affect a photo when a preset is applied are lighting, skin tone, camera settings, location, RAW vs JPEG (I’m getting to that, keep reading). Even though I am sharing the exact presets I use, no preset is perfect. I still tweak every photo depending on what it needs or the look I’m going for.

I am also a firm believer that we all see the world slightly different, these presets are how I choose to see the world. If you see life differently I encourage you to make the adjustments needed to make it your own.

MY SKIN TONE LOOKS WEIRD/ APPEARS REALLY ORANGE.
WHAT DO I DO?
Skin tones are one of the trickiest things to work with because everyone is different and has different undertones based on their ethnicity. These presets were designed with my skin in mind, I’m olive skinned so I may naturally be darker than you, hence why the skin tone may look weird.

If this happens, go to your oranges in the color section located on the right-hand side of Lightroom menubar. Here is where you will have to play around with your hue, saturation, and luminance until you find the color that is right for your skin.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RAW AND JPEG IMAGES?
JPEG files are processed right within the camera. Because the image is JPEG, a lot of the image information is compressed and lost. RAW files are uncompressed snapshots of all of the detail available to the camera sensor. Because the images are uncompressed you’re able to produce higher quality images, as well as correct problem images (when editing) that would be unrecoverable if shot in a JPEG format.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T LIKE THE PRESETS? DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
Unfortunately not, all sales are final since I cannot get the product back. But you will have the product forever! Save it the files to a hard drive so you always have a backup.

***A little reminder that if you are creating your own presets to sell or give away, make sure you start from scratch. I’ve worked hard to create my presets, and it is illegal to resell my presets or tweak them to sell them as your own.
