  • Sunrise at Abu Simbel - It's a long journey but in my opinion, it was totally worth it. I might even go as far as saying it was more impressive than the Pyramids. Cost: $140/ person

Day 1 October 8th

Welcome to Cairo

Welcome to Cairo airport, once you land our rep will be waiting for you to assist you through immigration and customs. Then drive to your hotel, Oasis, to meet your expert Egyptologist guide and Lisa who will brief you about your itinerary through Egypt.

Day 2 October 9th

Pyramids, and Sphinx

In the morning after breakfast, your Egyptologist will take you on a journey back to the time of the pyramids time, our first stop will drive to Giza to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramid. Then we will go to a spot where we can have a panoramic view over all the pyramids of Giza and ride a camel in the Sahara and the pyramids in the photo background.

Finally, we will enjoy a traditional Egyptian meal in a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel to relax or go in the evening to wander the city of Cairo among the locals.

Day 3 October 10th

Flight to Aswan, Philae temple

Early in the morning we will check out of our hotel and drive to Cairo airport to catch our short flight for about 1.15hrs to Aswan, when we get there will visit the temple of Philae dates back to the 3rd century BC. This temple was dedicated to Goddess Isis, the goddess of magic and beauty.

Visit a perfumery.

Check into our hotel, Tulip. 

Then we drive to the Nubian village where we will enjoy a lovely home-cooked meal at one of the local's houses. Before wandering the colorful streets of the village.

Day 4 October 11th

This morning is free to relax and explore Aswan.

Optional tour to visit the temples of Abu Simbel which are cut into the rocky mountain. Each temple is cut from a single piece of stone, it's really impressive. If you sign up for this add-on excursion it's an early start at 4 am to get to the temple before the other tourists and back to the city by 2 pm.

Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or exploring the local shops in Aswan.

Day 5 October 12th

After breakfast, we will board a traditional Felucca sailing boat for one night and we sail all day till sunset. Spend the day relaxing, jumping and. swimming in the Nile.

After dinner, we will enjoy a bonfire by the banks of the Nile river while we are enjoying the Nubian drums and songs which will be played by our lovely Nubian crew.

Day 6 October 13th

After breakfast we disembark the felucca and drive to Luxor, the drive will take about 4:30 hrs.

When we reach Luxor we check in our hotel, 

Steigenberger Nile Palace to relax & enjoy the pool.

Then we cross to the east side of the Nile to visit the biggest and greatest temple in Egypt the 2nd largest in the world the temple of Karnak which was built over 2000 years and is considered a historical book that states the history of Egypt over 2000 years.

Visit a jewelry shop to get necklaces like cartouche, key of life and eye of horus.

In the evening we visit Luxor temple.

Day 7 October 14th

This morning there is an optional excursion to do a hot air balloon over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy the sunrise from the air.

After our last breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and drive to the west of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings where most of the famous Pharaohs were buried such as Tut Ankh Amon, King Ramses the 2nd, Queen Hatshepsut, and more, there we will go inside their tombs and see some vivid colors.

Shop in home decor heaven at a local Alabaster shop.

After that, we are visiting the funereal temple of Queen Hatshepsut one of the few women who ruled Egypt in its long history. Later we will visit the colossi of Memnon. Before we leave the countryside of the west bank of Luxor we will enjoy a traditional lunch there.

Then we catch an evening flight back to Cairo.

After breakfast, our first stop will be the Egyptian museum, one of the biggest museums in the world where we will see the treasures of King Tut, and also the royal mummies of the famous pharaohs.

Then we drive to the Islamic Cairo where we will visit the oldest remains mosque in Egypt. After that, we will drive to the biggest market in Egypt Khan Elkhalili market where we can do our last shopping in Egypt for family and friends and enjoy a cup of tea or some fresh juice in one of the cafes there. We will grab lunch while we are on the tour, back to the hotel

Then we catch an evening flight back to Cairo.

Day 8 October 15th

After breakfast, our first stop will be the Egyptian museum, one of the biggest museums in the world where we will see the treasures of King Tut, and also the royal mummies of the famous pharaohs.

Day 9 October 16th

Depart Cairo at 7:00 am for a 4-hour drive to Baharia Oasis. Upon arrival enjoy lunch at the Oasis at a local restaurant. Afterward, you will take a 4×4 jeep with your Bedouin driver and escort for a drive to explore the village of Bawiti the Baharia Oasis Capital. Enjoy the scenery of the lush Palm engulfed with immense sand dunes.

Swim in the hot springs at Bir Al Matar and Bir El Ghaba, and climb ‘English Mountain’ to view the hilltop remains of a British World War I outpost. Then, pass the Salt Lake on the route into the Black Desert, with its black-topped volcanic hills. View the hot spring in the Valley of El Haize, and check out Crystal Mountain, a chunk of glittering crystal rising from the sands.

Drive through the huge, rounded rocks of the Agabat Valley, and head into the White Desert National Park, a region of spectacular, brilliant-white rock formations eroded by wind into spires, mushrooms, animals, and other bizarre shapes.

Admire the ghostly shapes, and then return to El Haize to your overnight camp. Enjoy a desert sunset and barbecue dinner under the stars before snuggling into your sleeping bag on mattresses in your tent.

Overnight: Camp in the White Desert

Day 10 October 17th

Absorb the desert silence during breakfast before riding your 4×4 back to Bahariya. In the Oasis you will the opportunity to recover before we drive back to Cairo.

Then return to Cairo by 3 pm we will check in our Cairo hotel.

Then we go for our farewell dinner.

Day 11 October 18th

Departure day

All good things must come to an end. I hope you had as much fun as I did and made some core memories.

  • Tipping for drivers, hotels, felucca crew, and tour guide
  • Airport Transfers Outside of Designated Times

  • Pay in 2 installments (2nd payment due by September 22nd)

*** If a second payment is not made by September 22, 2023 your spot on the trip will not be guaranteed, and if sold it will be given to the next person on the waitlist *** 

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel once your spot is confirmed (minimum 8 bookings) your 25% down payment + any additional payments will no longer be refundable however you would be issued a trip credit in the amount of your down payment that can be used towards another trip within 12 months. 

If you cancel 60 days or less before the trip start date, the trip is 100% non-refundable as domestic partnerships or accommodations have started to be booked.
